This series is tailor-made for professionals stepping into the world of Adapted Physical Education, equipping participants with the essential foundation and framework to kickstart the upcoming school year with confidence! Participants will develop a basic understanding of assessment practices used in Adapted Physical Education. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their understanding of various assessments available for APE including formal and informal options.
Participants will learn how to determine appropriate assessments to be administered. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to develop their current post-assessment practices including reviewing assessment data, developing a PLAAFP statement, proposing goals and objects, and recommendations. Participants will have access to a FAQ to share with Administrators to support their understanding of APE services.
